A serious suggestion, an older (or newer STI), speaking of a hell of a rally car then. Plus, I don't think the S2000 was a bad suggestion either.

It's an M3/4 board, I'm not sure a lot of us have thought about taking our engine out of our new (newish cars) and putting it in something else so I'm not completely sure what you expected.

2020+ Toyota Supra (DOA due to no 450hp+ engine option and no MT)
E36/7 Z3
E30 3 Series
E84 X1 (Like your idea)

Which gearbox are you using and how much $ do you have to spend?

If you have unlimited funds, getting it to work with something that's tube frame + aero would make for an amazing track toy.

My $0.02 would be to sell it and swap ls7 into something instead. Go with the known swap kits for lesser cost and more support?

BMW i3. Total sleeper... until people hear that nasty, rattlely trademark S55 exhaust noise. You'd have to put the engine in the back seat and make it a mid-engine car as it won't fit up front.
