CLS63 S

[Let It Rein]

Coming back from work lunch, my buddy decided to run me. Currently Stage 2 BM3. He got the first hit from 40, with me at his rear qtr panel. Pulled on him, all the way to 130 ending up fully in front of him by about 3/4 to a full car length. I knew the car felt quick, but this was the first real test.
Anyone else run a 63S?

Wow, I hope you don't mind me saying but if i read you right...

A stage 2 BM3 f8x against a stock CLS 63s from 40-130 only pulled about 1 car length? (i.e. 12-25 feet)?

I mean, that car has ~500 pounds on you and a traditional automatic transmission. I'm impressed he hung that well. Your car is no joke.

He got the jump, and I reeled him in from his back qtr panel to at a nice lead. Guess I was a bit surpised how badly I pulled on him, as was he.

Im sure we will run again. Next time I'll leave the 275lb ex TE and the other 2 passengers out of it. Again, Ive had plenty of fast cars, and this one feels good, just didnt realize how fast this one is. Buddy keeps saying that he wasnt in race mode, so that must be it...LOL...ok.
