At $113K, is this the most expensive M3 ever built?
Spotted this car at my local dealer and I was totally sticker shocked. Could this $113k be the most expensive M3 ever ordered?

Got pics of the car?
5k for a regular silver color is rough.

It's just a very regular silver color. Almost like the one on a 3 series.

Whatever is the $12,235+ Individual Composition is supposed to be, it is not in this car. All options in this car are priced individually -including the Individual interior and exterior paint.
This may be the first time that BMW slapped an ADM for themselves in a window sticker. |

Individual orders aren’t always just about the typical price for a custom colored interior and/or exterior. There have been other more involved builds which require additional fees. Two I can remember are those ordered by “biglare” and “Mark’s M”. But yes, for whoever ended up buying this car - there is another thread on this forum with the ad from the dealership that handled the sale - that would be one of the first things I’d mention when negotiating a price. Edit: Found the thread: https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1450295 It appears it’s still up for grabs for $130k. Gee and I thought someone would have snapped this up a long time ago! |

The $13875 took care of both the Individual interior and exterior, including the custom embroidery on the headrests. There is no $12325 Composition anywhere, specially when the full leather door panels, front seat controls trim in leather or front seats back trim in full leather are not included ($1000 per door, $800 for the trim, and $2000 for both back panels).
Perhaps that's the reason that it just does not sell. It is $12325 more expensive than what it really is. Quote:

After seeing those two, I’m Feeling pretty good about paying an extra $7k for the “30 Jahre” package with Macau Blue paint, Individual leather interior/dash, and carbon fiber front and rear aero bits INCLUDED! Looks like a bargain now.

We have ordered two Individual M3 so far, and we cannot see those $12235 anywhere in that car from the list of prices that we got. The other Individual prices make sense.

Nevertheless, in the absence of a directly comparable case to provide counter evidence, we can expect someone ordering an Individual BMW with a similar level of complexity to the one I cite will also be quoted a similar price.

While free is always better, I’m still feeling positive about the Individual options on the Jahre. The ridiculous prices for the exec and lighting packages, however, not so much...
