Tuning the M4 ZCP

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
I am getting closer to receiving my car, and have already received the JB4 and Akra catless DPs. Some people on the forums told me that they would not recommend running MAP 2 w/ DPs on a ZCP M4.

Has anyone done that on there ZCP? Anyone has some problems with that?
My car will run on 98 RON all the time.

I would start off by running map 3 and datalogging. Then move to map 1 then map 2. 98RON is the same as our 93 octane.

You should be fine to run map 2, but you need to datalog like I stated above, in that order.

Hi Cary, Map 1 would work with downpipes?

What setup are you currently running? DPs and Map 2?

I've done quite a bit of testing.

You need to brush up on how the JB4 works and what the maps are and the. Go back into the ZCP threads where we discussed the maps and ZCP charactaristics in detail.

Just email Ando from BMS, and he confirmed that it is ok to run Map2 with downpipes on the ZCP.
Weird that he is not aware of the recent tests on the ZCP.
