Navigation not working with CFRP antenna cover

Hi. I have noticed something very strange and wondered if anyone else has had this issue.

The navigation starts acting a fool after putting the carbon fiber shark fin antenna cover on. Does the cover block the GPS signal?

If it goes back to normal after removing the cover, yes, that's the culprit.

Not sure about the GPS component, but I know it definitely blocks the sat radio signal.

Been discussed on forums previously that it attenuates radio signals.
