I wouldn't take it to just any shop

There are specfic tools and hardware required for the job.

We fabricated a special tool to catch all the metal shavings, preventing metal from falling into the engine -- something not every shop accounts for.

If you need help finding a shop in your area, let me know!

Honestly i just went with whatever was in stock. They had 1 MaxPSI in stock for their shop car that they gave me so i went that. Eventhough gintani is only 15 miles from my home, didn't really see any good reviews from people getting their car fixed there.

Just a heads up I went with the Gintani HUB and my guys at Tulley BMW of manchester...Once everything settles at my labor price it'll be about $3500 but BMW labor rates are crazy at like $150 avg so I'm sure it's about a $5500-6k job at BMW and that's with like $300 off the hub itself.

Max psi customer service is absolutely garbage. I won’t purchase anything from them just on the principle. I ask for additional information via email over a week ago and no response.

Pretty pathetic.

Sounds like an excellent shop. Wish we had shops like these in oz. Good independents are few and far between.

Would BMW actually fit. In Australia they won't fit a bloody screw unless it's oem

If you are looking for more information on the two piece crank hub kit I would be more than happy to help you with any questions that you may have on it

You can give us a call directly at (800) 438-2808 and ask our receptionist for Shah (that is me). She will connect you directly with me and I will walk you through any questions that you may have.

If email works better you can submit your questions or inquiry to info@SSR-Performance.com and I will get to it as soon as I am able to.

Thank you!!

Another vouch for SSR Performance, had Maximum PSI CH installed at their shop and they were on point with everything from start to finish.

The work looks top-notch, I spent a good amount of time looking over the engine bay after getting it home and everything looks 100 percent in place and untouched, which is always a great sign!

Highly recommend them.

If you're asking me, I never spun my hub, I did it as a preventative measure.
