BMW 513m wheels on a honda

I've been a big fan of f80 m3 and love the 513m wheels. One day I'll get a cpo but I have a Civic type r for now. I know this is a BMW forum and lots of people flame on Honda owners but thought I'll share anyways. Picked up a set from a friend of mine and was able to find a trade from someone to get 4 rears.

513m square 18x10 set up on a '19 type r.

Cool! I had no idea that would fit.

Amazing that CTR can fit 10inch square setup.

What size tire are you using?

Maybe only on the TypeR since they use Brembo brake kits.

Looks really good, my girlfriend drives a black Type-R, we both don't like the stock 20" wheels, she is looking for new 18s, bigger sidewall looks good on it. I also prefer dark grey/gunmetal over black, wheel design is more visible, kinda disappears on black wheels. She also got the taillights and front+rear reflectors smoked, you should look into it, makes the car more aggressive, without looking absurd, also retains the reflection.

Yeah I like the grey. Hides the dirty better too.

I'm one of the few people that actually like the stock reflectors. But I can see how on a black one it'll look nice.

Man I was considering the type R but my wife vetoed the wing. Also they wanted a $20,000 markup here in Los Angeles. Bah.

Silly socal dealers. Typically Hondas can be purchased at MSRP or less OTD but damn, the Hype R is very difficult to negotiate. Cheapest I haggled to was 3k markup for championship white from Cerritos norm reeves. Ontario Honda offered me MSRP on black but I only wanted the white for the heritage color. Either way, I went the next day to check it out and someone was already signing papers. I purchased out of state for MSRP. Not super happy about that but after 3 months of back and forth, I settled.

Luckily for me, my wife loves the car. Especially because it was something i really wanted.

Looks good. Just curious but why did you go with 255 on the 10” and not 275 or go with 255 on the 9” 513m. 255 on the 10” 513m looks stretched out.
