F80 M3/M4 Competition Package ZCP 666M with Spacers Pics
Does anyone have pics of stock 666M wheels with spacers on a M3 or a M4? Please include spacer sizes and what your car is lowered on. Thanks!

Does having spacers on change the dynamics of the car? I like the look it gives but don't want to upset the balance of the car. I'm getting a M4 CP in September.

Yes it does. Changing the wheel offset alters the spring and damper ratio relative to wheel travel and also alters the scrub radius and required ackerman angle when the front wheels are steered. Changing the track width (through differen offsets) also changes thr amount of weight transfer during cornering, albeit by a rather small amount. The effect on spring/damper and weight transfer is not that noticeable, but the effect on steering feel and feedback is the one I find the most detrimental. I disliked what 12mm spacers in front did to my E92.

really? I haven't felt anything different with my e46 M3. I do have a drop and wider tires... so you would recommend not put spacers if I were to possibly get a F80 in the future? i owuld want wider tires in the back I assume for traction.
I always see you dropping knowledge on folks, im always reading your posts so thank you btw |

I'd rather live with the larger wheel gap and higher ride height than change the handling. Especially as BMW have supposedly made some recent small changes to improve the steering feel of the CP. |

Personally, I'd rather not run spacers if I don't have to.

We know the 437 M 19's is really light enough (22-23 lbs) in the market, but the offset could be more aggressive, especially on the rear. So a lot of people just simply put the spacers, but I'm wondering, do the spacers effect something while driving on aggressively or driving on the track?

You are running exactly what I plan to use for the time being with the KW H.A.S setup and the spacers, only difference is my car is yellow
Love your setup - retains the OEM look while giving it a more aggressive look at the same time, nicely done

On stock ride height, 12/15.
Lowering the car this week and will go wider if there's room
