Looking for a very random part
It looks like 2016+ (or possibly 2017+) F8x had a certain sticker near the gas cap that reads "BMW M recommends Shell V-Power."
Here it is up close on an F90: And a bit further away but on an F80: Looks like a partial part number is 8-053-157, but the local dealer was unable to find it. I did some searching and found a similar one (PN 71228064484), but the text is different. Anyone know the full part number, or better yet, where to get one? I've had many looks through RealOEM with no luck either. |

Sure, but it's also a fun exercise in searching for an obscure part. Some folks enjoy the search, so I'm hoping to kill two birds with one stone here. |

The numbers on the stickers should indicate the part number for it, weird it doesn't come up anywhere

Regardless, spent a good bit of time trying to find replacements and even ordered a couple of potential matches. Unfortunately, I never found the exact duplicate of the OEM decals.

You could get a BMW loaner at next service and peel the sticker off from the loaner...
or maybe somebody turning in a leased F8x will give you their sticker or if the price is right I'll peel my sticker off for you

Depending on the color of your car you could find a used fuel door of another car that already has the decals on them. I'm with the other guy on here that said getting them custom printed is the way to go. Matching them exactly would be a good challenge then seeing if anyone notices the difference. 😁

This resonates with me.
While the fuel door part number is identical, i decided to switch them over when making the wagon so i'd have this BMW M sticker. I'm a sucker for it, i guess *♂️
