I can give you the heated seats and the Nav, but anything else was there in the E9X M3.

As you should have noted in my post, the $6000 difference is on the M3, last MSRP with destination was about $57,300 for a MY2011.75.

Every other BMW since MY2010 except this one have included more standard equipment for the price increase than this M3. Actually, the last 2 years trend has been to add more standard equipment while increasing the base MSRP and still ending up cheaper than the last model year -i.e., F30 and F10.

You do not have to believe it, just check it out.

-standard nav ($2100)
-powered seats (standard until it was decontented in MY2011)
-heated seats ($500)
-hd radio (standard since MY2010)

None of which were standard on the e9x.

Plus, the m3 coupe was like 62k in 2013, so this is not a 6000 dollar price increase as you are insinuating.

The price increase is very small and the standard equipment is much more robust.

Based on the released euro mpg, there will be no ggt

A lot of that new carbon fiber on the F80 M3 should count for something... no?

Let's also account for the CF drive shaft, CF roof, etc. There are also all of those unseen tidbits that, in totality, amount to extra power, better performance, and a 10+ second improvement in lap times in the Green Hell. That all must account for something.

LOL, when I go on a road trip that I am unfamiliar with I do, in case there's a traffic jam I can quickly find an alternate route. I'm 34 but I'm old school. Something satisfying about doing some things the old fashioned way.

I ran the numbers. Accounting for the Nav and heated seats standard, the difference is about $3k. Non - inflation adjusted.

Here's my thread. I was a little off. So add in the extra $1500 to get to $62k, subtract off the $500 heated seats and it's a $3 k increase. And that's not counting CF trim, CF roof.

It's not that far off

I guess that that is the message, although the carbon roof pricing difference between the E92 and E90 M3 was about $1300.

So add that as well and we are down to just $900 in the M3.

So $900 for a newer, more technologically advanced motor (..with more power and more torque), a better derived suspension, a lighter transmission, some awesome sport buckets, among other things??!???! Yeah! I think we got a good deal.

So in a nutshell...we are getting a list of M5 packages and standard features which renders this whole thread UNOFFICIAL.

Extended has NO dash leather, glove box leather, or upper door leather. That is the one you want to pick.
