Well, if the car is already 190k basically, then you add in markup, it's going to come close to 220k or even more depending on the option. People are picky, some just prefer the GT3 because you get the same amount in a car.
You can kind of see it like a M3 Comp vs a M3 CS/GTS. Not everyone is willing to pay even more for just something a tad more when you can get close to that in a "basic" GT3 to begin with. You do also have to take into the account of scalpers. Which Porsche mentioned they do not like but have no real control over who buys/sells etc etc. They know how much they can sell the car for, so they won't buy it at a certain price. Scalpers like that are every where now a days, shoes, video cards for computers, cars etc. Real bastards. Edit: Most GT3s will come at least close to 180k give or take a few thousand depending on options. Think option wise, usually 15k in added options on average. You add in markup, most of the time the car will come close to the base GT3RS MSRP.

Man, that sounds worse than it looks. One of the comments states it’s a video and that never depicts the true sound. Anyone ever complain about the LFA, GT3, 458 exhaust on video? Maybe a Tesla owner but no one else.
This is like saying it doesn't photograph well. Of course, it’s ugly, why would it photograph well? |

A carbon fiber diffuser is 4+ grand with the stock exhaust. The MPE requires a new diffuser due to the Lexus designed tip setup. We know the f8x MPE was about 5k new. Can't wait to see what the g8x MPE cost with that diffuser...

For a cold start that sounded pretty damn tame, even as a video
F8X MPE sounds better IMO and doesn't look like poop If they wanted to showcase this properly, they should invest in equipment that captures it as pure as they can... Maybe it's just the OPF/GPF making it sound this way, I don't know... |
