I can absolutely do this remotely ... but I hear Ponce is nice in August!

You will need to download some software ahead of time & get an Ethernet to OBD-II Cable

Thanks, Will do. Ponce is nice but that's like 90 min from San Juan, I live in a town that's about 25 min from San Juan. I hope to be working with you soon!

I know ... I never made it there on my last (and only) trip to PR several years ago ... we stayed in Old San Juan and got wrecked in downtown San Juan many nights .... ahhh to be young again

Pill - wait about 6 months and there should be enough F80/F82's needing recoding you could make a US tour of it!

hey ... I like to travel, and my job is very generous with PTO time (300+ hrs in my bank), and I just used 3 weeks in the past 45 days

Is it wishful thinking - there will be an option code to disable the auto rev matching on downshift in Efficient and Sport modes with 6MT?

It would be cool to be able to turn that off completely using coding.

Doubtful ... That kind of thing is programmed into the TCU ... Unless you know how to read/write the programming code it will not be possible

Hey Pillpusher - saw somewhere I do not mimed recall that thee is a code to alter the speed limits that allow open/close of the convertible top - is this correct? If so, does it remove the limit completely (obviously potentially dangerous!) - curious (and of course referring to the pref gen as we do not have the latest coding for the M4)?

Yes, through coding we can enable the following which is a PART of the EBT Option for $500

1. Bluetooth Audio Streaming from Cell Phone Paired to car
2. Text & E-Mail functionality in BMW Office in iDrive

you will be missing the following:
A. Pre-Wiring to center console for phone cradle
B. 2nd Bluetooth Telephone microphone in headliner (passenger side)

It depends ... haven't got it working on LED headlight package yet ... only on the Xenon lights so far

Too bad my car is out of production. People better understand me first time when i talk to them via bluetooth

So with xenon you were able to disable it? Had that on my e93 and loved the way it looked at night.

i need approx 1 hour dedicated to the car ... the more we chat / i show you while we are working ... obviously the longer it will take ... I don't mind showing you what to do so you learn .. but if all you want to do is give me a list of things you want coded and put me to work ... i can get it done within 1 hour's time or less depending on how much stuff you want changed

Ordered my cable! Bummed to hear you can't do the corner LEDs on the led package. That was one of the main things I wanted.
