Would you lower or get taller tires?
I was running stock 19" silver 437s with 15mm spacers up front and 20 mm rear on eibach springs. I really loved the look of it and thought I was done. I found a good deal on some BBS CI-R 20" with 9"F 10.5" R front tires are 255/30/20 stretched and rear are 305/25/20. No spacers in the back, 15" spacer in the front
2 things are bothering me, the car ride height is too tall and the wheel gap is larger. I knew the car would sit taller but not this much. trying to figure how to fix this... I can correct the tire sizes, maybe 265/30/20 Front and 295/30/20, this should fill up the gap, but it will still be too tall for my liking, so I think I will need to get some height adj springs, like the H&R ones. I was thinking maybe stick with these tires and get the H&R height adj springs and see how that goes. see pics below, thx. Before: |

Thanks bro it's the eibach pro kit, just gonna stick with it. I put the 20mm spacers up front, looks better

I'd get 305x30x20 tires for the rear...those wheels are gonna take a beating and the handling isn't going to be anywhere what it should be with those 25s...I have PS4 305x30x20s on my Bilstein Damptronic lowered M4 ZCP...fits perfect, zero rub, great grip.

Here's my F82 with 275x30x20 in the front and 305x30x20 in the rear. It sits nice IMO.

If I get 305/30/20 I'd have less gap and it would look and ride better, might be the solution, I already have 265/30/20 for the front. I'll switch back to those, I don't like the stretch of the 255 |

Lowering a car to close the wheel gap when running shorter than stock diameter tires always creates significant drive ability issues. Car bottoms out more, suspension travel reduction negatively impedes handling and ride quality, you are much more likely to trash your front lip and under carriage.
OTOH, running 265/30/20F and 295/30/20R or 275/30/20F and 305/30/20R will close the wheel well gap without decreasing suspension travel, raise you car very slightly giving increased ground clearance, allow you to run lower tire pressures for better ride quality, and preserve close to stock F/R tire height stagger to keep DSC happy. If your rims have the right offset to run these slightly taller tire sizes there’s virtually no downside. |

I'd prefer not run spacers but the offset of these wheels isn't great for the f8x, the rear is ok but the front definitely needs spacers. I have 20mm on the front and getting 7.5 mm for the rear, I've had really good luck with turner spacers |
