glad to see BMW expanding its color choices (not going all silver, black, white, like Audi, Mercedes and BMW 5/7 series).

This color is just too baby/powder blue for me, mostly seen driven by older people (60+) or for some reason men in SUVs around me. Also popular in other sports cars like the Volvo S60 R and Mustang.

EBII was a little more unique (being an owner of one I am biased though) and probably the lightest blue I would personally go with. I think it will be cool to see one of these on the road but couldn't see owning it for 3+ years.

Glad to see there will be a yellow but will probably pass on that as well. I do wish they had a blue more like Monte Carlo, EBII, or LeMans (otherwise how will anyone do a superman combo ), even Interlagoos. And a true red is needed in this lineup.

My biggest dissapointment is in the seat colors, I was really hoping for two tone or contrast stitching/piping on the seats, I understand not offering that in the 5+ series M cars, but 3/4 is supposed to be more sporting, Audi does a great job with their combos and contrast stitching. Or is BMW holding back on that for the facelift?

I'm all for the bolder colors as I believe e92 was missing that, but this color looks like an extreme afterthought vs. Laguna Seca Blue that mesmerized, well at least myself, upon first glance.

LSB had really nasty shades in the sun (almost a aqua green) but otherwise it was a rich dark baby blue. This on the other hand is a bright baby blue (already tricky) but has a pearly shade that makes it look extremely cheap. I truly hope it looks different in real life. Estoril II and Monte Carlo both destroy this color.

I just want that F80 in the video, exactly as is (cloth or black interior please)! The CCB calipers goes perfect with the blue too
I also think that, like LSB, YMB is hard to capture on camera.

This is why you would want Santorini blue. That color would be PERFECT on an M4. No idea why it doesn't get more love. SO deep & vivid. It's similar to Laguna Seca in all the RIGHT ways, yet doesn't have the arguably odd greenish undertones.

Santorini Blue wastes this.

OK. That looks like three shades of blue, depending on the pic.

I just want to know: does it or does it not match the blue in the BMW roundel?

In one pic it looks like it might, in another, not so much.

Is the YMB color similar at all to the baby blue in the M logo?

.
The light blue in the ///M logo is called "Process Blue".

Perhaps more of a M2 option.

why does is remind me of bathroom tile in the 80 era and clothes from the 80's

imagine what it is going to look like when it gets a bit faded...
