The hotline said my car left on the truck last night after 10pm, headed for the dealership. In the case of BavarianFanatic and myself, that's a short drive for the shipping truck.

In theory, my car should be at the dealer now and VERY close to re-delivery.
I'm DYING to get my hands on it.

...and mine, unfortunately, is stuck in the VDC. Working on getting some details from the VDC to see what the story is.

Congrats to Dave for finally making it out the other end!

As of now, nothing exceptional noted about my car. It's probably the fact that I needed break-in service and you didn't that is delaying mine. Hopefully they'll get it wrapped up today...

VDC work order still open after a week. System finally shows "repair" as the status. Projected delivery 5/23. I wish they'd be a little more forthcoming with the details...

BF you are killing me. I'm using your car as my guide timeline wise as I did ED and piled up 1100 miles so guess I need to get comfortable too

BTW my car has been sitting in NJ port since 5/13.

Mine is clearly atypical. Mine was originally unloaded on 5/6, so tomorrow marks two weeks on the port and at the VDC. DaveM3Fan picked his up on Wednesday morning, so perhaps his is a better gauge of timing. The only difference is I needed the break-in service, but he did not. We both did ED together.

But - I just received word that it's released to carrier! So, whatever it was, it's now done. Fingers crossed it gets on a truck right quick so I can pick it up Saturday. At least it's progress!

My car is currently being processed through the VPC and is scheduled for carrier pickup on Monday. It's progress.

Congrats on your delivery BF. I just found out that my car is now being held up at the Port of Baltimore for final processing. I'm not quite sure what that means since I thought all that stuff was taken in Newark's port where my car sat since 5/13.

ED cars catch hell coming back on this side.
