Wheel Offset question

Do you guys think this offset on wheels will fit right on an f80 m3 with no rubbing issues or anything else that would be a concern when buying wheels.

18x9.5 et 19
18x10.5 et39
With these tires
265/35/18
285/35/18

That should work but the front tires will stick out more than the rear tires. I would use a spacer at the rear between 5-10mm. Tire circumference will be a bit small with 35 profile on 18's. That is more like 19" dimensions.

should be fine at almost any height with those specs, I had to trim the front bumper to fender tab since I ran it pretty low with a spacer making it about a 5 offset. rear will be no issue

18x10 +25 with a 275/35/18 or a 285/35/18 would be bolt-on for an F80 with stock suspension and look good (although a little small, in my opinion). Downside to this fitment is it will require a 5mm spacer up front if you have coilovers with low spring perches like MP HAS or KW coilovers. Other downside is a 275mm wide rear tire on an F80 gives you traction problems, especially if you are tuned.

The 18x9.5 et 19 front and 18x10.5 et39 wheel with 265/35/18 and 285/35/18 tires will work, but there are two caveats:
  1. I would highly suggest a 12mm to 15 mm spacer in the rear. For perfectly flush fitment with these specs (and lowered), you would want a 5mm spacer up front and a 15mm spacer in the rear.
  2. A 265/35/18 tire has a slightly thin sidewall for an 18" wheel on an F80, and I think most people would think it looks too small. The fitment will totally work; it's just your personal preference.
For example: here is my car- If you added a 5mm spacer in the front and 15mm spacer in the rear with your 9.5 +19 and 10.5 +39 option, it would look like this (but just a little smaller since these are 19" wheels in the photo) But flushness would be the same.

Thank you so much, that detailed response was super helpful. Gives me confidence to buy them. MineralWhiteF80 so the rear tires are ok? What tires would you go with in the instead of the 265?

Yeah, a 285/35/18 looks and works well for the rear (and front if you had a square 10" setup). If this was my car with 9.5" front and 10.5" rear wheels, I'd choose a 275/35/18 front and 295/35/18 rear combination. If I had a 10" square setup, I'd go 285/35/18 all four corners.

Edit: and just to add, we still havent discussed exactly what brand/model of tire you want to use. That matters hugely since some tires are narrower than others and that affects fitment.

I’d love to go 275/295 would the spacers size at that point stay the same? So the thing is the person selling the wheels has brand new Falken Azeni fk510 but they are 265/35/18
285/35/18 and since you mentioned i can do 275/295 id prefer that but with what tires that Idk. What would be a good choice for the best outcome?

You would not need a spacer on the front and the rear spacer would likely end up being 7.5mm size.

It doesn't make sense to buy that wheel/tire package from the guy if you immediately want to change tires to a different size (unless the deal is insanely cheap). If you want to wear out that set of FK510s first, then you can switch to the larger sizes. Or, if you are so compelled, sell the FK510s and then buy whatever brand 275/295 combo depending on if you are all street, street/track, or all track.
