Today it was my turn exiting the Parabolica at Monza with 3/8 of a tank in my 2018 M3. Powering out of the long right-hander, the car coughed hard and I got a drivetrain error indicating full power was not available. My 2015 M3 could pound around until I got the fuel reserve warning, so this is pretty disappointing. I shot a video. Fast forward to 7:00.

Was something changed between the '17 and '18 model years? This seems to only happen to the '18+ F8X.

I had a ‘15 f80 that would starve and go limp mode w/ drivetrain malfunction at Sebring turn 19 (a high speed right hander w/ a huge bump in the middle and previous corner leading onto the straight is a right as well) w/ anything less than 1/8 of tank I was suprised cuz my e90 would run without hiccup til dead empty but then I figured it was cuz the hpfp in these DI motors needs so much fuel to keep 200 bars of pressure in the rail

On my 2018 CS it can happen with half a tank.

It really depends on how hard you're pushing though. If you're putting along the problem barely surfaces
