Any way, all I'm trying to say is strictly looking at MSRPs.........if I'm going to spend into the 100k realm I'm going to spend 10-15k more to get what I really want over settling. So if a M3/4CS is 110k and BMW isn't moving off of that I think it is well worth it to get a 911 S for 120ish. Or a M4 GTS at 130k plus I'm getting a manual 911 GTS. My point is it appears BMW is jealous of Porsches profits and is trying to do the same, but I don't think they have the cars to back up their MSRPs in most comparisons. This is without taking into account steep discounts or what you can get each car used. Then it tilts heavily back into BMWs favor. Edit: Agreed about Porsche fanboyism, it has actually turned me more off of the brand than price. |

Sorry OP Debtm3 for the thread jacking, if I already haven't stated this before here are my thoughts on the cars you are talking about. If you want a more fun/involved driving experience I'd go with the M2C in preferably a MT. If you want an almost as fun to drive, but much more practical/better looking and faster car than get the M3 CS.
I'd maybe hold out and see what the M2CS is going to bring to the table as that could be the BMW to have driving wise. Up to you what is more important for your decision. |

I may still get one, but how do I carry the tires to the track? A little trailer would look kind of ridiculous behind a GTS. It's a pity about the GT350, so much potential!! and such wonderful music! edit: don't worry about OP, he opened the thread like a year ago |
