Just got my first passes in with BM3 OTS Stage 1 93 oct map.

No other mods, stock 19's and rubber.

First two passes were consistent with both being 11.7 @ 123mph , and third/final pass a tad slower at 11.8 @ 122mph.

Boost reduction in 1st: 40%
Boost reduction in 2nd: 30%
Boost reduction in 3rd: 10%

Will probably remove any reduction in 3rd gear next time and lower psi in the rears.

Congrats! What's the most you can reduce boost in 1st gear? Does the car feel smooth with boost reduction or does it feel like traction control is disabling the power? Hope that makes sense.

Do you know the DA for your runs?

I've often wondered what % of boost reduction would bring the BM3 OTS Stage 1 back to stock power levels. My guess is 20%.

Thanks! That's a great question... I'd have to log back in to BM3 to confirm, but I feel like you can get pretty aggressive with the reduction. At least over 60%+ if I recall correctly?
I'm just trying to "maximize" the launch control to it's fullest in 1st/2nd, so traction control is completely disabled. Not sure if I answered your question correctly?

That's a great question. I thought I remember that 20% in 1st,2nd,3rd was equivalent to a linear CS map...???

It's funny cause my best run, which was my first, was the fastest with the LC launching at the default 4,000 rpm. I thought for sure, lowering it on the next two runs would have negate some wheel spin a tad. Oh well, that's racing

2015 BMW M3 S55 White owner @carlosespinal04 that has run 10.7@132.5mph with stock turbos a few months ago in DR now install VTT GC turbos.
Easy installation, bolt on, fast shipment, great service !
Car feels super fast, spool is same as oem, turbos are making huge difference against oem.
We are keep using JB4 and MHD ... E60 oem fuel system with WMI as supplement fuel (2 #10 jets ). Oem Clutch still holding good to manage
5.99 in 60 to 130mph with DA 1,908 ft
and 138mph 1/4 mile

it's an invalid Dragy run, but they are accepting up to -3% slope because of VBOX entries.

At what gear and wat rpms are u at when u hit 60mph? I assume u are dct. Also r u running e85? And are u switching gears or running in auto trans during ur runs?

Just got my first passes in with my custom Stage 2 map tuned by Carry Jordan.

AR downpipes, BM3 flash
Stock 19's and rubber, full weight on 93 octane.

First pass was 11.5 @ 127mph , and second pass at 11.4@ 126mph.

Boost reduction in 1st: 50%
Boost reduction in 2nd: 30%
on both passes.

I hear this mph is pretty strong for 93oct? Makes me excited to start my E85 venture soon!

I usually start in 3rd at around 45 mph not exactly sure on rpm. Yes DCT and Full E85 tune. I manually shift.
