Just got confirmation that I got my first choice of dates on 9/18.

We'll be picking up my F83 Triple Black M4 and plan to spend the following 2 weeks driving around Europe.

I don't know about the folks that build these cars...but after I get back to the office after just a two week vacation I forget how to do my job. I forget my password to my PC, I forget what I need to get done.

Nada as of Monday morning Can anyone confirm if their CA sent int he PO to BMW? I believe it is dependent on that.

So I'm trying to secure an ED for the 1st week of December (I will be there the entire week) and my CA is telling me he has my allocation in the system but the order will not go through because I am too far out. He's stating that there is a 5 month min out from the requested date.

Just wanted to see if anyone else can confirm this. Also, what are the chances I'll be able to get a date that first week?

I'd hate to have to fly back (which I'm willing to do) but wouldn't mind picking it up while I'm already there.....

As for the 5 months - I heard this from two different CA on opposite sides of the country - so I think it's true.

I can't imagine too many people are planning December this far out without know incentives etc so IMHO - you should be fine.

Posted this in another thread but figured I'd ask here: When do you guys think an August build could do ED? I get an allocation in July. I have to travel between 9/13-9/30 and go back to work after then. Debating if its possible to do ED before 9/10. Doesn't the plant stop production in August?

Quite a few EDs already between 9/1 and 9/10.

Completely possible as I believe manufacturing starts back up towards the end of August.

My CA just told me that they still have 8/3-8/9 available for production. So it looks like I should be okay.

Awesome. How do you schedule for PCD at this point? Or is that done when your car arrives in the US?
