Very interested in stage 3. I know I'd need the heat exchanger in addition...
To retain warranty with stage 3 we would require the heat exchanger but nothing else would be required. Intake would be highly recommended but not required. In the case of alternative brands of supporting mods the warranty would still apply but any problems that can be traced to other vendors parts would not be covered. As an example if you keep getting MAF codes that would be due to the intake and thus not covered under the Dinan warranty since its not our intake, not our problem. =)

I'm sure I already know the answer, but any chance you guys did a dyno with just a stage 3 and heat exchange? I'm getting this in before the rush?

Did not. At least I am not aware of any test with just the two. The CP car was dynoed without intakes but the other 3 components at one point but I never saw the data points I am afraid. I would be surprised if it was more then a max gain of 10 WHP difference. The more important factor of the intake at that point would be the improvement to throttle response.

Looks like a great package. Could Dinan provide insight into how your heat exchanger compares with the AWE Cold front? Any differences of note?

I don't like to do direct comparisons as its in poor taste to the other vendor to be honest. I don't like them to do it to us so I will extend the same courtesy. That said, everything that differs is noted in the blurb, bullet points, or can be assessed through picture comparison.

Is there an advantage to preordering? My dealer basically told me to wait until November.

I have never seen my M4 heatsoak on the street with repeated pulls or at the road course. In fact I was and still am so impressed with stock cooling on this car that I constantly rave about it to everyone I talk to especially N54 guys local to me.

Stock, running in sport+ and the oil temp gauge barely moves off 180. They did an outstanding job on cooling the S55!

You must be one of the lucky ones who got an IAT gauge rather than an oil temp gauge like the rest...

Your dealer obviously isn't seeing the demand at the local level that we are seeing at the national level. The advantage is basically securing your place in line to get one. =) If you wait until November to order you will be waiting until December most likely given the sales just today. From when I left the office at 5PM we had already pre-sold half of the initial first production run of 102 units (some random price drop from a 100 to 102 quantity apparently). Assuming roughly the same pace the initial batch will be sold out before the weekend. We will obviously put in another PO in before the end of the week assuming sales dont plummet overnight for more cores but thats another 6 week production cycle + transport which means mid-November until the second production run would be shipping from Dinan.

Like I said, we knew they would sell, and sell well, but weren't quite expecting this level of adoption. The M4/M3 crowd never ceases to amaze me.

Do you mind shareing what are the core specs?
dimensions, # of rows, fin / tube used / brazing technique?
- AWE has published some of this, but don't see any specs with your listing
