where can i the comp differences from 16-->18? yeah carplay became available in iDrive 5.0. I have carplay in my other cars, so i prefer to have it rather then not at a decent cost. so what are the other differences ?

part of the reason is the economy. 2008/2009 the recession hit. About 7 or 8 years later confidence came back -new car sales boomed, now people are trading / chaning leases...

It goes like stink and corners almost as well as my 2006 Lotus Elise. Much better brakes and the power is never ending - Haven't stopped grinning ear to ear since the time of pick up :-D :-D

I am in the same area as you and a lot of us have been getting letters from BMW offering to buy our cars were just about what you paid, maybe a hair less. I think you did great.

I ordered a $40 Carfax for my 2015 F80 on July 5, 2018 and the retail value and trade in were $52k and $46k respectively. This morning I checked and it increased to $55k and $49k which seems weird. The reason I checked again is I'm trying to get them to correct the number of owners to be one but they list two due to me moving from Iowa to Illinois. Anyone have comments on why the values increased or how to connect with someone at Carfax.

Could be regional variances? Also, I don't find CarFax the most reliable predictor of car values. I'd try to triangulate with others like KBB, Edmunds, etc. and see local ask prices if really looking to find a value.

Not just BMW my friend, you can buy a low mileage 2006 Bentley for mid $30s...I'm seeing it happening more and more, people with houses not more than $250k opting for used Maserati's and Bentleys then get surprised with the gas/maintenance bills.

Oo wow. I wonder if there is something off about it. That's pretty below market.

Haha, if you -like me- bought the car brand new (when it was hot and wanted) and would like something different after 2 - 3 - 4 years... and with a new model coming up, then all cars will be flooding the market around the same time, making the supply greater than its demand.

I'm going to avoid being a lemming and will keep the car for at least 2 years longer than planned. Quite positive that the last 2 years will be a lot cheaper than all the years till now. And tbh, even with a gun to my head, I would struggle to buy something more pleasing and purposeful at this moment. 1st world problems, but I will not be selling too easily. ;-)

Thoughts on a very low mileage 2018 M3 with ZCP, executive, manual, adaptive dampers. 3.5 years of warranty for 65K. Car is clean I saw it in person. Thx.

I've been shopping the last 3 months for a nice used M car. In general, the M4s were slightly less than the comparable M3s here in CA.

I just picked up a '17 M3 ZCP MN6, 5500 miles, full leather (most underrated option), lighting package, M Perf CF splitter, diffuser, steering wheel, etc -- no exec and no CCB -- for $60k.

Plus previous owner did full ceramic coating, full clear bra, camber plates, endless pads, 15mm/12mm spacers, and ceramic tint.

Price was fair I think.

Non-CPO I assume. Even so, still a good find!

So I'm new here, just bought a fully loaded 2015 M4 Convertible with 32k miles for $47k, original sticker $91k. Very happy with it for the price, hopefully depreciation has settled enough. Paid the extra $700 to extend the maintenance out till the end of warranty so I'll get another maintenance out of it, brakes look thin too but I'm hearing that may just be normal?

Looking good!

I'm new here, and in the market, for a very similar car. If you don't mind, how much time left on factory warranty and was it CPO'd? Ddi you by from BMW dealer or ?

I see a used 2018 M4 with Comp/Exec/DCT, ~18000 miles with what looks like a clean CarFax. MSRP was 79,885.

https://www.rockville-audi.com/used/...699d88cf1c.htm

Can anyone explain this one?? Priced at 59,981

That's a lot of miles for a less than year old car, and condition is probably shit.

MSRP was close to $80K but original owner may have paid low to mid 70's. If that's the case, $12K - $15K depreciation isn't crazy for the miles put on it in less than a year. 18K is a lot of miles in less than a year, but if all highway mile, could be a nice car. I used to drive 18k - 25k miles / year, all highway, and my cars were all well maintained. I'd confirm maintenance records confirm that all service was completed and also check paint to make sure it isn't all chipped up from the miles. Dealership is owned by Sonic so I'd ask why they didn't send it to one of their BMW dealers who could sell it as CPO.

Mine has 9 months left, non CPO but bought at BMW dealer. There was an exact twin of my car that was CPO at another dealer that sold for $51k with slightly less miles. Not many CPO M4's out there as it adds $4k cost which I don't really think is worth it for 1 year warranty.

You need to get yourself something like a 991.2 GT3 then. Seem like you're looking for exclusivity from M cars lol. I understand how you feel though.
