Clear coat peeling on 681M CF wheels

I'm seeing clear coat peeling on all 4 of my CF wheels - see attached image. One wheel shows peeling over around one third of the wheel circumference. The other wheels are showing peeling over less than one tenth of the wheel circumference. I haven't had a chance to inspect the inner portion of the wheel - there may well be peeling there, too.

I know that this was not present when I picked up the car a year ago - at that time, all wheels looked pristine. I'm still on the original set of tires -- no other work has been done on the wheels/tires over the past year.

Anyone else encountering the same problem?

I've reached out to my dealer already.

For those with CF manufacturing/engineering experience, is this a structural/mechanical concern? I would be a lot less worried if it is just cosmetic.

I'm wondering if anyone has ideas on how to get this resolved.

Thanks in advance.

Weird, it kinda looks like minor curb rash. Definitely only cosmetic as it appears the clear coat is the only thing defective if it is indeed peeling.

Definitely not curb rash - can't feel any depth at the spots showing defects. I've been the only driver of the car and never got close to curbing the wheel. Also, it would be hard to curb the driver's side wheels (in the US) - I guess it would be possible on a one-way street.

It appears the CF roofs are not the only CF parts having issues.

Likewise, seeing more and more reports of BMW Wheel Clearcoat failing.
