I really wouldn't worry but, more boost puts more downward pressure on the top of the piston which pushes down on the rod assembly right down to the bearings for a brief moment.

Awesome build! Thank you for weighing the difference between the Wagner IC and the OEM.

That clutch is huge, but looks very nice.

I will also say ASR Kratos have been the nicest turbo manufacturer I have ever dealt with.

Aggressive timing maps increase the cylinder pressure exponentially as well. That's why it's better to run less timing. You lose about 10rwhp per 1 degree of timing, but your engine will live longer. The more you increase your cylinder pressure the harder it is on the rods and the bearings.

That is some what true. Increased boost pressure increases cylinder pressure as well.

Ignition timing that goes past MBT is what can exponentially increase cylinder pressure. If the timing advance is within MBT and the octane limit of the fuel, then with quality oil, your oil film should hold fine and there should be no bearing wear.

How's the drivability on the road? Response same as stockers? You plan to run e85 or 100octane? Great numbers on pump!!!

Drivability is great. Its very loud tho. Turbos swirls are very audible. It feels like they spool up earlier and harder than the stock turbos so you have to be ready. I absolutely love it and cant drive it enough. I may need to turn my burbles down because it lets off a HUGE gunshot like POP every time i let off the gas.

Ah re side skirts, if it’s made that way then that’s cool. Thought they were really on backwards.

Haha you were the one that posted the canards on the Facebook group and got some heat for it right? Haha more power to you. Looks great!

Increased boost pressure increase the pressure on the piston and rods, therefore pressure on the bearings. Especially if you have high boostpressure in the lower rpm range, then the load is higher under a longer period of time. High boost/torque and low revs kills bearings and con rods.
