Thanks man! The 20” wheels fit well but the 19” looks really good too. I plan on powder coating the comps gloss black or gray and use both sets but the car will be making good power soon so I need traction lol

*Update*
Car arrived at EaS yesterday and is undergoing surgery to satisfy my horsepower addiction! Will have pics and updates posted soon as well as some dyno numbers, but it should be joining the 700+whp club!! |

First impression; WOW! This car is violently fast and a bit sketchy lol.
I wanted to do a basic build this time around that covered all the bases and Tom@eas helped make it happen! We ordered what was necessary to have a simple, yet functional setup which also addressed the crank hub issue for precautionary measure. I actually opted to do the catless mid pipe at the last minute but we could have gotten away without it. Here’s the parts list: BMC air filters (removed carbon filters) Pure stage 2 Hi-flow turbos ESS silicone charge pipes VRSF catless downpipes, midpipe and j-pipe Snow performance progressive methanol kit w/dual nozzles BMS 3 gallon stealth trunk tank VTT crank hub Ngk colder plugs E85 As you can see it’s not that long of a list, but addresses any flow restrictions as well as cooling and basic supplemental fueling needs. Tuning was handled by Cary Jordan using BM3 and he did a great job! Stock like drivability cruising off boost with hell unleashing when you mash the loud pedal! My car was at EaS for 1 week from drop off to pickup and I was kept in the loop the entire time. They actually didn’t start wrenching until Tuesday afternoon and the car was finished Friday afternoon mechanically with tuning scheduled Monday. EaS tech who did the work was very knowledgeable, detail oriented and left everything looking like it came from the factory this way. Great group of guys at EaS, I highly recommend them for anything bmw. After driving the car for two days I can say this car stupid fast! I’ve been sideways in both 3rd and 4th gear on the freeway up to about 90mph so I’m shopping for tires currently lol. I ran my buddy’s ‘17 zr1 on the freeway in Mexico last night and walked away from him! Going to order a draggy to get some acceleration data and will hit the track for trap mph. Super happy overall with the car and I can’t wait to get better tires so I can really put the power down and let her eat!! Last edited by BlownOne; 11-21-2019 at 08:03 AM.. |

Almost forgot to mention vrsf catless downpipes and midpipe to comp muffler combo sounds great! It’s quiet with the valves closed and sounds really good with the valves open! I was concerned with how it would sound since I never heard any s55 with modded exhaust in person, only watched videos and I can say 100% videos don’t do justice!

ahh wave rotors
make sure, that unlike the oe waves on my rs3, the internal venting goes in the right direction on both sides yep you just read that as for the rest of that build - perfect setup can the bm3 control meth? |

Thanks man! I think it’s just what these cars need haha. I’m not sure what parameters the bm3 can control in regards to meth aside from timing or adjusting lambda, but that would be a question Cary could answer. The snow kit came with its own progressive digital controller hat has start/full psi points for injection to ramp it in and a digital boost gauge display. |

TireRack got tires to me next day, which is today!!
Looked for the stickiest tire I could find within my size restrictions of the wheel and went with Hoosier a7’s in 295/30/19 due to lower ambient temps. Its tight with my current wheels, but they fit!! I’m probably going to roll my fenders since it’s really tight with about 1/4” vertical clearance, which under suspension compression would rub. Anyways drove a few miles, did a wot hit in 3rd gear and it hooked! Need to play around more but they are doing work already!! Last edited by BlownOne; 11-23-2019 at 06:13 AM.. |

Oh yea it’s a handful wot! I really like the VRSF catless dowpipes and midpipe combo with my comp muffler! Sounds stockish with the valves closed and sounds really good with the valves open. I was concerned about how it would sound with all the exhaust threads and people complaining etc but it was a relief when I fired up the car and heard it in person👌🏼 |

Goals!!! This is a sick build bro! Clean, simple, and sooo much powwwaaaa! I would almost call this a sleeper knowing that there's 700+ hp under that hood lol. Do you daily the car with slicks? Also are you still in Sacramento? Contemplating pulling the trigger with the same exhaust setup you have and would like to hear it in person. Like you've said videos don't do any exhaust notes justice but I've been leaning on the vrsf setup as I think it's the best bang for buck out there.
