Nate, can you give us a hint on what material the exhaust will be made of? Eisenmann always had the sound advantage but weight had left me disappointed on the E92 version. Titanium?

Eisenmann co-developed the new F8x M3/M4 system with iND this time around. The stainless steel version has been designed using lightweight techniques and they will also be offering an Inconel version

Can't wait to hear the Resonated center section + Sport performance with valves + Catless downpipes (or without).

Yeah I'm thinking sport with resonated pipes. Possibly downpipes down the line. I hope the stainless pricing is nice. I don't have to worry about weight savings. Being a giant trumps any of them lol.

Can't wait to get an Eisenmann on your M!

Good news! I do need to clarify something with the exhaust options from Eisenmann as they just updated me this AM. There will be one system for the M3/M4 that is valved controlled using the OEM settings. Here is the final list of options from Eisenmann Germany. Now M3/M4 owners can have the best of both worlds (Sport and Race in one).

1. Eisenmann rear muffler system with 4x90mm tips
Comfort = Comfort sound
Sport mode = Sport Performance
Sport+ mode = Race performance

2. Catless downpipes (with flex section)
3. Resonated or non-resonated center section

Nice!
For what do they need the flex section of DPs? Just for better fitment?
And I hope they will make some СF tips.

Sport = valves
Race = no valves

I personally won't get the valved option because I found myself driving with the valves open all the time when I had my P-car. Certainly a great option for a daily or an adult
