Good deal on new '18? Or can I go lower?

Hi All,

New to BMWs so I don't know much about incentives and whatnot that BMW offers. I'm looking at 2018 M3s and was wondering if this supposed pricing is decent or not and what I should be negotiating for:

It's a 2018 with Competition and Exec package with MSRP $81,045 with advertised dealer discount of $3243 for a total of $77,802. What else are people paying for similarly equipped M3s? I saw someone here they got $69k for similar equipped.

I have seen 10%+ off on M3s, but Beverly Hills is not known to be aggressive on pricing. There are lots of other SoCal dealers willing to deal, including forum sponsors.

I would check with Jimmy Bach at Steve Thomas BMW and Greg Poland at Pacific BMW. They've been known to give some good deals.

Agree with Alex. Bmw Beverly Hills will not work with you. They will give you a quote and you take it or leave it.

I was thinking of heading over to the Torrance BMW dealership as it's closest to me. I hope they're decent. They have a nearly identical car to the BH one I posted.

Mine had the same MSRP and after discounts and incentives it came to $68000 (this was in June though, and IIRC there was a loyalty credit).

I had MSRP 78,500.

Got it to 73,500 and then had 3k holiday, 1.5k loyalty, and 3k fleet.

Granted, this was last Dec.

I got 18% off MSRP for 2018 ZCP, built to spec. Part of this was fleet discount.

I called Bmw Beverly hill today and asked them what is your best discount price off MSRP. They told me no discount, only $3000 and that is the rebate/incentive. I was like Good luck and never again calling the sales people from BMW Beverly Hill. They think they are the !@#$.

depends on region but i think its

$1500 loyalty
$3000 rebate/incentive for the model

I second this - worked with both, and both are excellent. Very straightforward and don't hide anything.

I agree with you. I asked Greg what is the best discount off MRSP he can get me on the M3? He told me straight forward $3k off.
Then i asked Stevethomas, he actually gave me $6k off MSRP. I was shock when he gave me the quote. I didn't pull the trigger is because they don't have the color combo i want.

When was this? Are the Fleet discount programs back on?

This is in Poland, not USA, and Aug 2018. We don't really have seperate discounts for this or that - you just negociate the end price here for the most part. I'm also much closer to the factory, no need for a ship so less transport costs for them.

I live in CA. Shopped around extensively local and out of state. Found what I really liked out of state. Century BMW in South Carolina hooked me up with 8K off MSRP of 86500, plus another 4500 off for financing rebate and loyalty rebate. Con is I have to have it shipped to me for 1450. It is still a great deal compared to what is locally.

This is for Individual Grigio Telesto, ZCP, Exec package, and M Comp Package.

This probably isn't helpful, but I got just shy of 15% off MSRP in mid-December in Portland.

That dealer matched the discount here (plus no longer available financing discounts, etc.) - but at least this deal still exists!

Of course, I am within a couple of hour drive of this listing - but you never know.

Did you ever end up going to South Bay BMW to look at the car?
