Opinions on my next BMW lease?

My current non ZCP '16 lease ends in March.

I have been debating on the following cars:

1)M3 ZCP
2)M3 CS
3)M5

This will be a lease and ideally would like to go for the M5, but the low residual and increased MSRP really jack up the monthly payment.

There are alot of CS's sitting around which means I would probably get a good deal plus the loyalty credit, may put me in a new monthly lease probably ~$200/mo more than what I am paying now.

When I do the numbers, M5's seem to be going around $1500/mo minimum. A significantly higher payment for sure.
Considering a ZCP lease, would more than likely give me a payment near or lower than current, but not sure I would see that much change from the non ZCP I have currently.

Given that, the next logical step would be the M5, but since there are cost concerns, was wondering what others suggest? Would ZCP or CS provide a significant change over what I have now? If not, then I can save some bucks and ZCP it is. Or just bit the bullet and for the big increase in M5 payment?

Thanks

For me, MT is a must. Therefore I'd go with a comp package M3. If youre ok with auto, then I'd go M5. Try to find a good deal on a non comp package M5... bmw is offering a lot of cash incentives for non comp right now if I recall. Or an X5M left over.

You already have an M3 with CP so getting another M3 with CP again might not be much of a change . . . as you said the M5 is a lot more . . .so I would say consider the CS and it's a little bit of a different car as well. Residuals and MF have significantly changed for the worst since 2016 so it's difficult to compare a monthly payment from then to now.
Lastly, yes there are quite a bit of M3s and M3 CS on dealer lots but the residuals increased a bit this month and lots of incentives currently available so a lot of them are going.

Edit - Re read your post that your current car is non CP . . Then I would say take a loot at the 'convenience' options that the CS is missing to make sure they are not a deal breaker.
