LED Reverse Light Bulbs?

Only 4 out of the 6 had to be changed (Is_LED settings did have to be changed). I made sure all 6 values were changed to those settings. No flickering or problems that I've noticed. That particular bulb has the chip in it that prevents flickering anyway so presumably you wouldn't need to do the coding with it, I just did it because, you know, OCD M3 type as the other forums on here call us.

I am loving the extra light. Big difference...no negatives unless the bulbs turn out to be sh1t.

Yeah I was surprised how easy they were to change, I thought last time I changed an e90 bulb I had to remove the entire housing from the trunk. Twist and pull was refreshing.

From JDM toy says "Great as an upgrade for the stock brake lights (replace the smaller H21W bulb not the larger 7506 bulb)"

I believe I emailed them before I bought from DDM to ask what the lumens were but they didn't know.

Installed the DDMs with the MP blacklines and works. After ignition I put in reverse right away just to test. I haven't started the car itself so I can't say about flickering, etc.

For anyone that has an F82 M4 or F83 M4 Convertible you really need to check the following thread:

Any change from halogen bulbs to LED bulbs will require some coding to prevent flickering, even though it does not happen that often and you may not notice. But can be completed at a later date if you have someone that can do it for you.

You mean when you start the car you'll see images from the rear camera? I don't have that.

In a garage...when i parking reverse to the wall. When you come closer to the wall and I see the wall trough the reverse camera the the picture is flimmering. With normal bulbs i dont have that.

The bulbs are no flimmering in real...only trough the revers camera

That is quite possible even though I have not noticed it. Similar to when you see a video of any LED lights (such as youtube videos of LED running lights) and they flicker.

I got curious enough to go check it out and confirmed that it does flicker, yet very faint. Had not noticed it before.
I had to get close enough to the wall in order to even notice it. Not an issue that would prevent me from making this mod.

Flickering is normal when your looking through a camera, your angel eyes do the same if you take a picture or look at them a camera

I just got a set from ijdmtoy through amazon, popped them in and it doesn't even turn on. Still thinking it's not likely to get two bad bulbs so was wondering if I need to do any sort of coding? No message in idrive so I'm assuming it is at least providing the needed resistant to keep the bulb out message from triggering.
