Ambient lighting for the front dash?

Has anyone been able to mod ambient lights on the front dash just like there is on the sides of the car? It seems like a major oversight that there is no ambient lighting that wraps around the front of the interior like it does around the sides.

LCI trim has that in the center console.

I've got the LCI 2018 model... it doesn't go from the center to the door though. It just stops and then continues again once you get to the door.

You are looking for the center console stereo trim ambient lighting right? I have a 2017 M4 and instead of a LED cup holder light i got a USB. Do you match that? I am currently trying to figure out how to wire it as well. So far from all of my research I found that I need to run it to the Front Electric Module. However where I run into problems is I dont know any of the colors for the wires and I cant find any trustworthy wiring schematic. I will keep you update when I finally figure it out and will send the the full walk through when I get it.

Negative. That part is illuminated in my LCI model.... it's the area from the right of that too the door. The area between the passenger side dash and the glove box.

What your asking for really isnt possible due to the extensive dash modifications required, as well as wiring. Remember that the F8X platform was designed in 2013-2014.

The G8X will have this feature.
