Adaptive Lighting malfunction error

Hey guys while turning my car on today i got this error and then it just went away and checked to see if my lights were turning on and they were so i thought maybe there is no problem but tonight when i drove my car the lights seemed dull like they werent bright enough and i not really see that far out i do have my lights tinted but they been like that since i got my car and hasnt been a problem so whats you guys think should i take it to the dealer and see whats going on?

If you have warranty, take it in. If you don't, unplug everything and hope it goes away.

I had this exact same thing happen to me in my f82!
It was under warranty so they changed the whole headlight unit and that did not help! Brought it in a second time and I guess they changed the module (it's a small black box behind the whole headlight unit) and now it's working perfect
