The following cars attempt to race/ fly by me on a weekly basis:
Nissan Altima
Nissan Maxima
Toyota Camry

In various glorious colors and combinations.

Perhaps it has to do with the streets where I drive, but it's incredibly annoying. I usually change the lane to get out of their way. One dude hit the curb as he was flying by me in his circa-90 Altima.

The day when I was picking up my M3 ZCP 2017 after ED from LA, on the way to Bay Area some Mustang GT was trying to race me, was fun

Haha! on the curb hit.

A brand new Maxima raced me today. It didn't even have plates yet. We were both at the front of the light, and he didn't need to change lanes or anything, but he took off like he was looking for the checkered flag.

I didn't take the bait, so either he's high-fiving his coworkers for beating the M3, or maybe he just had an emergency shit on deck.

I am assuming the *majority* of people on this thread are 50+ and show up to cars and coffee meets early.

Ever since the thread a year or so ago on being "Genny-Zoned"...

If I get a chance to "pretend race" a Genesis and deliberately lose, I take it. I've had it happen to me twice - with once being just epic. The guy was fully on it. I'm like.... ~50% throttle, but with an MPE exhaust the car is still pretty loud. Had my windows rolled down - I had my teeth gritted with a rocking "why won't this thing go faster" movement to my body. Let myself "lose" by about half a car length.

I don't know why it just cracked me up. Somewhere there's a guy talking about how he Genny-Zoned an M4.

Last week I was on Rt 9 in the right lane when I saw a car coming up fast in my rearview. Not much traffic so he could have just changed lanes and went on his way but he decided to stay fairly close to my bumper. Up ahead the light turns red and he switches lanes to pull up next to me. I look over and you can tell by his gangster lean driving position that he means business with his new ISF. Light changes green, he floors it, and I make a right at the light to head home.

2017 Porsche Cabriolet.. Just regular model not the "S".

Amazing how hard I pulled on him on the freeway. Love the top end on the 3rd gear its just amazing. Being a convertible didn't help him either.

Everyone. Almost everyday. I don't have any restraint either The F82 even in BSM attracts a lot of attention. I usually just blow them away as most people have very little driving prowess. Today a Honda Accord tried to keep up. As I slowed to get off the highway he beeped goodbye. Most people just want to race an ///M.

I'm glad it's just not me, I even get people I'm just cruising past on the motorway wake up and chase me down, I just don't understand it, you were happy doing 65-70 in lane one I cruise past at 90 and now we're doing 120mph and you're inches of my bumper???

I have to say the worst are M135i/40i drivers they sure do have a hard on for M3s.

Also Skoda VRS drivers (not sure if you get those awful things in the US) they have huge amounts to prove in their 190hp diesels.

We also have a certain demographic in the UK that will use all the lanes/ignore traffic signals and driver dangerously to "win" I avoid those guys like the plague although like magpies they are attracted by shiny things.

true about the other bimmer drivers. friday on way home from work, i happened to come up behind a decked-out white 335i (reflector deletion, fancy wheels, black & white roundel, probably a software upgrade, etc.), as he waited to meter on to the highway. he burnt half the tank off the line, i guess for my benefit, i just watched. later, as we left the freeway and turned left onto a dual-carriageway i swung out right to make a right turn. he saw a threat and mashed the gas again. i easily matched his speed, and just continued on my way w/o looking over, piffle....one shouldn't acknowledge the riff-raff.

saturday a g37 (not even an s) had a go -- again, i just watched.

i've already crashed an M3 -- not interested in doing that again....

It is pretty amazing how many people want to race an M4. 4 cyl Mustang on freeway, C300 4matic, modern day Ford Explorer, circa 1995 Honda Civic with rust eating away at fenders, the list goes on of severely underpowered cars with very stupid drivers behind the wheel.

My son is usually in the back seat when I have the M4 out, so I can't pay any attention to this nonsense. Additionally, the wife would murder me. But still quite amusing.

A Hyundai Elantra with rims and an exhaust rolled up on me the other day. Sounded just like a weed whacker!
