Finally Got One **M4 Competition**

Having lusting over F82 M4's I finally bought one.

The car is an April 2018 model with an extras list as long as my arm.

Question is has anyone had their cars checked out by BMW prior to the manufacture warranty running out?

The car comes with the 5 years service pack which I'm told is transferable?

Any help / advice would be greatly appreciated.

I had a service pack on my previous car that was with the car and stayed with the car. Ie I used it when I had and now the new owner
Of my F31 has it.

As others have said, service pack stays with the car.
As regards warranty, BMW offer a free end of warranty check. So even if you have no concerns, take advantage of it.
This will also help preserve the MOT promise.

Are sure? Looks too light for Tanzanite Blue. I used to have Tanzanite and it's a very dark blue.

Whatever blue you have it looks amazing.

I was going to ask same question.

Does look like Estoril. Too dark for Yas, too light for Tanzanite. It's a series colour too.

Thanks all. I have the original spec sheet but it only says blue.. I suppose a call to BMW will clarify.

Picked the car up Saturday and it's rained and snowed since in sunny Leeds.

New rear tyres need in a couple of thousand miles. There's plenty of threads recommending what to go for.

Still learning the controls / settings.

Anyone had a problem with the size of the latest iPhones and wireless charging? I've got a iPhone XS Max and it's too big to clamp in.

Strange it doesn't specify the blue on the spec sheet.
What's the paint code? (It's on a sticker near the tyre pressure label).
There's someone that sells a 3d printed replacement phone charger end plate to address that issue. People who've bought them give good feedback.
I'll see if I can find a link, have a feeling it's on Cutters...

490 is the generic code for Individual colour.

The paint codes on M Series are on the drivers side door jamb, unless it is an Individual paint. if it is an Individual paint they get a special sticker and it is in the engine bay, usually on the drivers side near the strut mount.

I'm going for Avus Blue.

Either Avus or Estorill Blue. Whatever the color is, she is a beauty!! I had a 335i Msport in EB, loved that color. I now have a YMB F80 M3. It is a really nice color, but I miss the EB.

I can confirm the colour to be........Estoril Blue. Now touch up paint... got a few little chips I need to sort.

Also any people's got any suggestions on caring for alcantara? Hot soapy water and a microfibre cloth ?

For your touch up, buy a Chipex kit. They're fantastic.
Clean alcantara with baby wipes & a soft brush (old toothbrush for example). Then finish with a dry microfibre cloth. Will bring it back like new.
