many people want to live in certain parts of Bellevue, Redmond and Washington that work for some of the major high payers here (google, MS, Boeing, Zillow, Expedia, etc. etc.). they have kids and want to have them in good schools. good schools are in areas where they bring in lots of taxes because of a) high taxes and b) high home values.

Good luck. Seattle is one of my favorite cities in the US, and I spend a lot of time in Bellevue for work.
In my opinion, best food in the US. Hands down! |

This is the first time I've heard this opinion. Bellevue is my home and favorite place to spend my time but I've always thought it was lacking great food options.

Yeah, whenever I want good food I have to drive far from Bellevue. Great place to live but could use some better food options.

I agree with you. Lived in Boston, and the food there, NY, Chicago, and quite a few other places are so much better that the Seattle area - by a huge margin. Beer is better in Seattle though!
