I'm pretty jelly - this was going to be my color but, at the time, BMW turned me down for the time-frame I wanted

What confuses me is the fact that not the complete lower dash is in the same color. As much as I know the lower dash will be in the same color as the seats if you get an invididual color (with full leather).

This is the perfect color combo, well done. The color itself reminds me a lot about the color Fiji Blue Pearl which i had on my old Civic Si.

I love the color on its own but to me it just does not suit the M3. It would work great on a 650i or something more "elegant". IMO the M3 needs loud and bold. Also there is no contrast there. Dark blue, black wheels, dark brown interior. If i really wanted that gorgeous blue to work on an M3 i would have done silver wheels (contrast) and a bright interior color. Probably Sakhir orange so it pops. Too "stealth" looking for my tastes. Beautiful but more suited for an S class or something classy or maybe even a regular 3 series. The M3 is a wild rip snorting aggressive beast of a car. It needs some contrast to look the part! I think swapping the wheels for silver alone would make a big improvement. The color itself is drool worthy for sure!

That's bc the buyer opted for a custom configuration. You will also notice that the lower center console is cohiba and the seat backs are also done in cohiba. This is not a "standard" individual full leather configuration.

Not at all, in fact it's a beautiful interior. Would be a great option for a gray or silver exterior. But it doesn't flow at all with the deep beautiful blue IMO.

I would have picked silverstone for some pop, or plain old black.

I actually think that Cohiba goes very well with blue exterior color (San Marino Blue as well). Sure, it's a classy combo and not very sporty, but it's a gorgeous combo if you prefer a classy look. But I agree that silver wheels would look better.

I have an F80 M3 San Marino Blue, with full silverstone interior, 19 in silver wheels, 6 speed, with some carbon fiber M performance bits on order. Scheduled for production week 12. These pictures are making me excited about my build.
