Sorry yes, dealer markup based on what their cost is. The dealer is still paying 7% less MSRP so unless BMW USA is giving the dealers back 13K, the dealers are losing money. This is certainly not happening in Canada, not sure about other parts of the world.

You don't believe the dealership is buying these cars from BMW for 7% off MSRP do you?

I was thinking it is a somewhat limited car, and usually that seems to keep values stronger, no? Aren't the Jahre 30 values still up? BMW 1M?

Lease experts - is this a good deal or run away?
MSRP: $102,395 Discount: $12,405 (12.11% off) BMW rebates: $4500 MF: .00217 24 months, $9995 down plus drive offs, 10K miles $599.8 plus taxes The additional drive off amount is $3,357.21 plus first month. That’s $14k total down payment.

Guys, I have a dealer near me with a lime rock gray 2018 M3 CS
MSRP 114,000. How do I negotiate a decent deal, what % should I expect to get taken off the MSRP? What incentives should I look for? Would like to stay in the mid to hi 800s. |

It would be great if there was a long thread where people detailed out the deals they received so you could compare. Oh wait...

It never fails my friend. There are pages and pages of intel and the same lameduck questions pop up every third day. The best part about deals on the CS is there is only one answer on what a solid deal looks like yet confusion still sets in. Can't wait until there are no more new vehicles left in inventory.

If the MSRP of the car is 102k (typical CS) and the final selling price you paid for it was let's say 82k (after rebates) and you put down another 9k then the actual capitalized cost would be 73k . . If the car is totaled in 1-2 months and the insurance values it at 73 then yeah you are out all 9k but if the insurance values it let's say at 88k (not unreasonable for a car with MSRP of 102K) then the surplus above what BMWFS is owned goes to you and technically you could be making money once all the fees are covered.

I posted this some time last month but here goes again. If you're seeking an AW M3CS here's a deal that can be had in Kentucky
MSRP: 101,345 Sell price before incentives: 85,200 Rebates: 5500 (lease credit, loyalty and full OL code accepted) MF: .00177 Doc fee: 239 With MSDs, this should yield monthly payment around the mid 700s before taxes and fees. Please pm me for dealer info |
