Nope, I ordered mine two weeks ago with a mid Nov production and a mid Dec delivery.

Nice option list though, I almost went cloth on my SO M4.

Are you guys saying 8 weeks won't happen? What is the realistic order to delivery times?

I picked up my M3 today. There haven't been a lot of SO/SO M3 photos so here are some more. My outgoing 335 is there, too. It's been a great car for the last 6 years, but the M3 is a nice upgrade.

This the only decent interior pic I have so far. We went out to dinner and it was dark when we got back. The SO exterior looks amazing in low light. Pictures definitely don't do it justice.

rz3, it looks as though you captured the color perfectly, unlike many other shots that look more red then SO. Bravo!

Yes, thanks for posting these!

On my monitor, in the initial set of pictures the interior/exterior looks more orange, and in the last one more reddish. Which would you say is more accurate (or perhaps they are both accurate depending on the ambient light)?

If you had it to do over, would you order SO/SO again? I am seriously thinking about getting the same combo, but slightly worried that it might get to be a bit too much after awhile.

The first set is more accurate. Those were taken with my DSLR camera. The interior pic was with my iPhone and it looks much redder. I'll be taking more interior pics tomorrow once my schedule settles down.

Yes, I would order it again. My only regret so far, and it is a small one, is that I didn't go with the full leather. I didn't want the orange stripe across the dash because it looked like too much. I still think it would have been too much since I was able to look at mine next to an M4 with AW/SO full when I picked it up, but I loved the leather dash. I would have gotten over the orange stripe.

The color of the car changes significantly with the lighting. It's beautiful. I stood outside my garage in the dark last night for a couple of minutes admiring it. I should have taken a picture, but not sure it would have come out. It was a rustic red/orange with LED headlights and the colored M symbols on the seats. against the dark interior.

It's taken a few days since I decided a road trip was in order to get the car closer to 1200 miles. Still 200 miles to go, but I should get that done in a few days. I spent two days driving 800 miles on two lane twisty back roads and had a great time doing it. The car handled them like a champ and I can't wait to get the service done so I can drive it like it's supposed to be driven.

Since most of the interior pics have been close ups, I took a few from farther away. The interior and exterior oranges are not even close to similar when viewed in person. I don't think the pictures do it justice. They compliment each other very well. I have had numerous people compliment the car. It really is a stunner in person. It looks aggressive and stylish at the same time.

About the color... now that I've had it a week and I've been able to see it in a number of lighting situations, I can say that every picture you've seen of it is accurate. It changes quite a bit depending on the ambient lighting and goes from orange to red to rust or some combination all the time. This morning in overcast skies it was a deep red. I've never had a car that changed colors so much.

Tint applied today. Llumar Formula One Pinnacle 30 on the front, 15 on the back. Air Blue 82 on the windshield. Heat reduction was immediately noticeable.

Overcast out so the car looks a bit redder.
