What would be the the out-the-door on a M4 listed at 87K? Looking at 36 month lease, 10k a year with very little out of pocket. Also, returning BMW customer so loyalty?

Thanks!

No loyalty or conquest but that may change next week

So after dealing with BMW directly they said they will not sell a lease to anyone but the lease holder. I had to trasfer the lease to my name first (in process now) then after its in my name i can buy it out from them or use my own credut union for financing. This might work out better if I can negotiate the price down a little...

Easier to have a dealer buy the car then broker the deal to sell it to the buyer you have lined up

Yup, I've done this a few times for a nominal fee

If this thread is still going, how are we looking on 2020 M2 discounts? Now that we have '21 M2 in productions

+1 I would like to know as well since I plan on going to the dealer today and seeing what is possible and what is not.

0-6% is pretty typical on M2 comps

If I can swap it into one of my preferred dealers, 8-10%

There are so few 2020s left, incoming 2021s dont matter. Dealers are already marking 2021 M2s as "do not discount" on their systems

Didn't buy anything through Dan, but he was super generous with his time in providing some high level insight into the BMW pricing world. Would not hesitate to do biz with him in the future! Thanks, Dan.

Currently working a deal for a 2020 X3M non competition. What can I expect to be a good discount? They're stating a $5K credit through BMWFS, is this correct? MSRP is $75K but total savings shows me having a $7800 discount off sales price, I'm assuming this includes the BMWFS credit.

Yes there is $5k APR credit for purchase
If that's included in your $7800 discount and the dealer discount is only $2800,
please run away from this deal

Really appreciate the help on this thread. Thinking of snagging up one of the remaining M4 Heritage manuals. Color agnostic, whole country is fair game. Got a quote on one that was ~8%if you include loyalty and financing cash (looking to buy, didn't really want to finance but would be willing to for the BMWFS incentives).

I've seen 8-9% thrown around for the heritage cars as a good number. Is that 8-9% on top of whatever incentives and rebates there are?

Thanks

Yes dealer discount should be 8-9% + whatever incentives you qualify for. Finance it for 90 days then pay it off. There is no pre-payment penalty. Not to mention the rate is dirt cheap at .9% for 60 months. It's free money

Performance Delivery

Great information Dan. If the M3 x drive will start production in July 2021 as a 2022 model, then I am leaning that way. That would also give me a chance to see and possibly drive a RWD M3 earlier in 2021. I had an M2 that was built in August 2016 and we did Performance Delivery on 10/23/16. Great experience. Is your network of dealers willing to provide a good deal on PD in South Carolina? Thanks.

The PD has nothing to do with the deal. It's just a cool experience, but the tours are still closed because of COVID19. You can just pick up the car from SC though.

I been in talks with a dealer on a Certified Pre owned 2018 M4 competition, it’s alpine white, with heads up display, double clutch, harmon Kardon speakers, 20inch alloy wheels, and some more stuff. Has 31,166 miles.

Internet Price: $53,900.00
Discount <$650.00>
Your Price $53,250.00
Tag Fee $544.95
Proc / Doc Fee $999.95
Tax $4,320.62
Shipping $1500.00
Total including Shipping $60,615.52

The shipping in from Florida to CT. They said the Certified warranty is 5 years coverage from the original service date and unlimited miles. My first offer was 49k and they only dropped $650.00. Not sure if this is already a great deal or there just stubborn, can anyone help out please. Thanks

The shipping is a bit high. I paid $1K to ship my M4CS in an Enclosed Carrier from Minnesota to Florida

Oh wow yeah mine definitely sounds high compared to yours. I can try asking if they can get another quote but not sure. Do you think the rest of the deal looks good though overall? I was still going to try and get them down to like 58-59k but wanted to see if anyone thinks it’s a great deal to begin with or not.
