M4 seat turning in on itself

Hi,new to m4 ownership.had the car a week,and first time I moved the passenger seat it does not move back and forth instead just swivels inwards,same with switch on rear top of seat,can't see anything in the seat tracks,garage I bought from is 500miles? Anyone had similar problems?cheers

Not heard of this before - sorry sounds like a fault to me.

Mabey something went under the seat and broke plastic motor holder?

If its turning presume one side is either broken (motor/mechanical) or blocked. If you can’t see any obstruction then presume the former - not sure how the system works - maybe others on here have repaired/dismantled/fiddled with seat mechanism.

It's the plastic bar that holds the motor that's broken can't get this bar you have to buy a new bottom frame
