Anyone tried EBC YellowStuff pads on their M4?
I'm waiting for my StopTech rotors to arrive and figured I should replace the pads at the same time I put the new rotors on, but I can't seem to find many pads online other than EBC YellowStuff.
So I'm just wondering if anyone has used them on an F82 yet and if so what did you think of them? I would be using them mostly for street driving but also a few track days each year. If anyone has suggestions for a more suitable pad and where I can buy them (in the UK) then of course feel free to mention them. Cheers Chris |

I used EBC yellowstuff a lot on my E36. Great dual purpose pad for that car for sure. I don't know how it will do on a heavier M4, but wouldn't hesitate to give them a try.

I'll say this only once. Don't waste you're time with EBC products on something like an M car. They are better suited to small low powered hatchbacks, having tired every type on many cars over the years. I wouldn't fit free EBC pads if they gave me a lifetime supply. Never again. Only my opinion. I'm hoping to try the Carbotech range as I used these for years on Mitsubishi evos. I also run Carbonne LoraineRC6+ pads in my evo track car and they are awesome but far too noisy for street use.

I have them on both my cars and I think they're the shit. Lots of people on here hate on them without even trying them themselves.
I personally know 4 others that track heavily with them on their late model Bmw.

Oh and what would people recommend as alternatives for fast street driving and occasional track driving? I'm struggling to find much available for the M4

There's also the Pagid RS29 but those may be a bit too noisy for street use. |
