DCT rpm @ 60 mph?
Just wondering what the rpm is in final gear (6th I think) when driving at 60mph or 100 kph, (I have a CP on order)? The e92 was close to 2500 rpm at that speed....seemed fast even with the 8300 top.

You need to do some more research if you think the F8X DCT has 6 gears...
Due to the power curve characteristic of the S55, the DCT on the F8X has much longer gearing than on the E9X. Which makes for very leisurely and quiet cruising on the freeway. At 100km/h: 1st gear -> N/A 2nd gear -> 7050RPM 3rd gear -> 4650RPM 4th gear -> 3475RPM 5th gear -> 2725RPM 6th gear -> 2300RPM 7th gear -> 1825RPM

1850 rpm! Holy crow! No wonder the km/100k are so good. I had read somewhere it was 6 speeds, and with that kind of power, I thought, 'yup' makes sense, you don't need 7 gears. I think the GT-R has 6 gears and lots of power. Must have been the manual they were discussing when they mentioned 6 gears, anyway thanks!
