so i guess you must prefer roll down manual windows vs auto, since its less likely to break and cheaper to fix

No, it wasn't about the weight to me. I purchased the car off of the lot; it was an ordered vehicle that a buyer reneged on (...and that was 99.9% perfect in terms of color and options). He was being a smart ass by mentioning power versus manual windows. I don't need power fore/aft control of seats (...they had power bolsters and lumbar support in the E92), and when BMW changed that for the MY11.5 E92 M3, I didn't really feel that I was missing anything because of having only partially powered seats. I'm the only person in and out of my cars anyway. In my M4, for example, I can count on one hand the number of times that I've adjusted the driver's seat in my year and a half of ownership.

yep the ratio of m3/m4's to c63 ats-v is just plain ridiculous. much like the activity on their respective forums. I heard that the leftover 2015's C63 S a few months ago were going for 7-10k off msrp.... that brings the price back down a bit, feel bad for the guys that bought it full sticker only a few months prior. Considering the crappy lease deals I would think most people purchased the C63 S instead of leased. edit: adding link for under msrp in case of anticipated flak from mb fans. 13k under msrp http://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-c6...3-fs-c63s.html 7.7k under msrp http://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-c6...d-pricing.html

M3 or ATS-V 600-700 lease for a C63 will never happen as those cars are in the mid 70's to 80's |

Never had cloth seats before, plus I figured a Signal Green F80 with a 6MT and cloth seats will be a very rare bird! I really wish they would do alcantara bolsters though, that would have been very cool.

Cadillac charges $2000 for their automatic transmission. For who, for what?

Keep her happy I guess. My point was, for all the nickel and diming BMW does, at least they don't charge for the ZF8.

I wouldn't mind spending $3k on a better transmission on the V. But since Chevy/Caddy charges the A8 tranny as an option on their corvette/CTS-V/ATS-V models I had no choice but pay for it. |
