To the the early adopters of this, how has the piece held up so far?

I just installed the V2 Performance wheel and now this is piece is calling me too (wish it would shut up!).

Brought alcantara cleaner from Amazon but the durability of this piece is a concern.

Here it is with custom M deviated stitching to match the steering wheel from Ryan@IND. Also same custom stitching on the ebrake handle to tie it all together

The ebrake is alcantara with gloss carbon, I just found an M5 mperformance shift knob with alcantara and gloss carbon / I will be adding the tri color stitching to the boot, and I am getting the m performance steering wheel v2 with gloss carbon insert. It all ties in together nicely. Full silverstone leather with black accent leather looks damn good. The silverstone is a nice contrast to the San Marino Blue exterior.

This is true. It tends to really “smooth” out where it gets constant contact.
