Sorry, to clarify... I read that I need to update iDrive to an X version for screen mirroring. Can the software do that?

I meant full screen view of the screen mirror instead of just the small portion of the car's screen.

You can update (flash) Head Unit with E-Sys and PSdZData Full. NBTevo_X is needed for being able to code CarPlay for Full Screen. But X is not needed for Screen Mirroring (for Android Miracast devices), which is possible going back to NBTevo_H I believe. And Screen Mirroring is never Full Screen.

I just bought a 2020 M4 Comp, looking to code full screen CarPlay and some minor stuff like folding the mirrors when the car locks. I've never coded a car before so I'm a complete novice to this.
