Couple of questions about the ones below... I did most of the ones you did, plus some others.

Which one here is the mirror folding? I don't like that when I lock the car, mirrors fold in automatically... in e92 m3, I had to hold the lock button longer for it to do it. I like that better.

I did this one above... along with coding 6NS... however I don't get any emails or text on the idrive. I turned the Bluetooth notifications on and all... nothing. Any tips?

Not sure where these 2 are or what the actual functions are? I coded them, but I don't see laptimer anywhere.

Couple of other coding things that made no sense... This one for instance... Mine was already OFF... yet the lights are still on. The little orange led next to the turn signal in the headlight.

Turn off Amber Side Markers next to Headlight:
3063  MAPPING_SIDEMARKER_L_OUTPUT = OFF
3063  MAPPING_SIDEMARKER_R_OUTPUT = OFF

This one, I would like to disable completely... I don't like it tilting... but I don't see the code for it... any help:

Tilt Passenger Mirror farther down when in reverse
3110ASP_BORDSTEINAUTOMATIK_DELTA set to: werte=4B

In my idrive... I have a menu called Mini active sounds... I think it came on after I coded this.. but I can't do shit with them. can't select or anything
Is that what this does?

Enable Active Sound Design Configuration Menu
3000  ASD_CONFIGURATION set to: aktiv
3000  ASD_SOUND_4 set to: aktiv

Thanks for your help.

These three control the side mirrors:
3110 → ASP_BEIKLAPPEN = aktiv (werte=01)
3110 → ASP_BEIKLAPPEN_BEI_KOMFORTSCHLIESSEN = (werte=01)
3110 → ASP_AUSKLAPPEN_NACH_KOMFORTSCHLIESSEN = (werte=01)

Make sure you've done the pre-requisites in the two posts below. It is a colossal pain. I saw a post somewhere by pressing and holding the speech button on the steering wheel you can have Siri read the stuff to you and that is much more reliable. I have not tried that, but I think I will.

These are enabled by default in the F8X. When I coded the laptimer I did get a menu item in the Navigation menu but it didn't do anything.

Can't help you on the other stuff.

Thanks for the help bud.

Is the stuff above for when you hold the lock button or just when you lock. Right now (I think) when I hold the button, the windows roll up, which is good. IF I only lock the car, the mirrors fold. That I don't like.

It wasn't that clear in the coding options.

Have you managed to disable your amber little corner light?

As far as this... I don't get the first thing he said.. "Enable Office". I have an office section now after I coded 6NS... but there's no "Enable" button.

Was I supposed to do something else after coding 6NS?

Haven't messed with the amber light. The side mirror options are active when you lock or unlock the car by touching the door handle or using the fob.

I just had my f15 x5 coded. You can set the how fast you want the mirrors to close after lock. I set it to 1sec delay. You can set it to additional 3-5 second hold on the comfort access for the mirrors to close.

I also would like the three little led coded off on headlight. My friend couldnt crack that one.

How much and where did you get the cable? Also, is there any specific software that you have to buy as well?

I forget which one but there is a delay function. I can look it up but most people change it to zero so the mirrors fold as soon as you click the button

Thanks very much for the report, very helpful.

Did you notice any suspicious looking entries that might resemble Euro MDM (disabling US MDM)? I presume it must be the same setting as on F1x chassis (M5, M6), but actually no coding sheets on F1x forums note this. There are just a couple of local or remote coders that claim that can do it.

So... challenge accepted for a DIY.

My car is still on a ship so I can't plug in to OBD port and investigate, but was wondering if you found it.

I turned 6NS on a forum member's car that didn't have it. In HU_NBT there is a setting to show office on the menu. Don't remember exactly which setting it was but if you search for office in HU_NBT you will find it.

That's the one -- thanks, Shawn. "Office" is in the comments field for that code.

Pressing and holding the speech button on the steering wheel to talk directly to Siri or Google has become my favorite way to read and reply to texts & emails, however.

I'm not sure of that fine level of control, but it comes on whenever the door handle lights come on. I have the door handle lights come on when I go in reverse (illuminates curbs for the top view camera) and the M lights come on then.
I can confirm this is how it works for me also seat lights tied to the handles.

It's a must do if you have the top cams. The handle lights illuminate things well at night.

MMI = Man-Machine Interface, so it turns off the iDrive when the door as opened as oppose to waiting until the car is locked.
