Exactly. It's pretty easy to hear that one guy is loafing and one guy's on it a little harder.

Is it me but the front wheels are not the testing wheels are they? They look like the M6 GC wheels (kind of...)

Edit : I'm sure now, they are not the testing wheels, front or rear.

The latest prototypes show the production wheels, which resemble the M6 GC wheels, but aren't the same.

Just found this video, shot on the 18th of July.

This is the most aggressive driving I've seen so far from the new M3. Sounds and looks quite aggressive. Sounds like the engine revs quite high when you hear it approaching.

Compared to the good old high reving natural aspirated BMW engines it sounds like a vacuum cleaner.
Hope that they will keep on working on the exhaust tone.

I guess it's all down to preferences. To me, both in your vid and from being at the ring, the S65 has a slightly dull and uninspiring sound... Compared with many other cars driving there. It just does'nt stand out and if a M3 drives among other cars, you have a hard time hearing the M3.

But, that's me. I am very happy that the M3 is moving away from the "muscle car" V8 sound. But I really get that to many, it's that V8 soundtrack that makes the car!

And, hardly fair to compare a stock development car with a S65 with Akra exhaust.... Still, I preferred the soundtrack from the F80 with S55 engine

I thought the latest from Scott said the M3 is going to debut in Tokyo Dec 2013 and the M4 in Detroit Jan 2014
