Which program did you use to flash?
Did you write updated SVT to VCM?

Good point.

I used ESYS through the upgrading ECU's on F11 guide.

If you had Update MSM and VCM unchecked in options, then you can use Expert Mode > VCM to write change after flash.

Do you think I should edit I-Step current in VCM?

Which Psdzdata_full did you use?
What is Current and Last I-Step Listed?
What happens if you recalculate Tal? Do you still see updates?

The most current PSDZ from Shawn. Current and last shows Nov 2015. About to give my baby girl a bath. I'll recalculate right after and report back.
Thank you.

PSDZ is I-step version 16-11-502.
Current is 15-11-501
Shipment and Last is 15-07-504.

Sure enough I have a few ECU's that are wrong.
ATM
FEM Body and GW
HU_NBT2
TMS (both)

I'll flash these. Now to figure out the dependencies so I don't screw up again...

Alright, so I went through the steps and even though the ECU's don't match, they are not popping up under TAL-Processing.

Looks like I'll have to force them under TAL-Calculating.

There is no difference for F020 between 3.60.2 and 3.60.3. But, there is a new I-Step with 3.60.4.001

Can you post a screenshot of the fault (or the code) from ISTA, what did ISTA propose under test measures? and did you also try the ABL "Teach in front electronic turn signal"?

Glad all your ECUs got flashed in the end!

Haven't gotten a chance to hook up the computer yet. Just drove home and noticed my headlights still have antidazzle coded as well as my no dip cutoffs.

You need to click on headlight modules LHM RHM whatever it was they are 4 and do some tests . I remember there was even fan test/teaching . Each module have some tabs , click on them and you will see what im talking about. There was order in which you have to do it so you may just do them twice . Like for left headlight its 2 modules so do module 1 then module 2 then 1 then 2 . Make sure you delete all errors before that. Dont have ISTA in front of me.
Edit its like teaching each single component insight of the headlight . That what worked for me when i replaced headlight. Hope this helps

dzvero,
I'm using Ista+ I just see the ABL initialize headlamps and teach turn signals. It's all in one.

Here are some screen shots. Looks like I have plenty more errors than just the lights. Seems like com issues. Not really sure what to do about it.

Turn signal error.

Did you clear all faults post your flashing sessions? did you modify anything post your flashing sessions ? and do you know the status of the flashed ECUs ? try calculating TAL again and check in Esys that all ECUs show up properly in SVT tree.

PS: see attached ISTA pic for lighting service functions.
PPS: Also, use ISTA "Call up ECU functions" in the Control Unit Tree to diagnose each ECU separately.

I cleared all faults via transmitter as well as Ista.
I did not modify anything post flash.
All ECU's show up fine.
The ecu folder on a couple show up as red/blue, but the caf files show black and nothing shows up in TAL-Processing (I ran it anyway and the logs showed that it modified MSM, but no change to the issue). I've also reflashed those modules to try and correct it, but no luck. One of them was NBT2 (for some reason when ista is scanning it says NBTEVO).

I've also tried changing the following in fem_body

"MAPPING_SIDEMARKER_L_OUTPUT" and "MAPPING_SIDEMARKER_R_OUTPUT".
From off to "fra_v_l" and "fra_v_r".

@psedog , if you cleared through ISTA all faults post your last flashing session, and all those faults re-appear, then indeed there are issues. The fact that some ECUs show up as red/blue in Esys (assuming you used the same psdZ when you flashed and redid the SVT target), then that implies something wrong went with the flash.

Post a successful flash, if you redo the SVT target calc, all ECUs should not show any red/blue... I recommend you re-flash each individual
ECU separately that still fails, so this way you can sort through the log files easier for errors. GL, and if you'd like I can help look at Esys psdZ logfile.

So you have been driving your car without turn signals?

PS: your mic 2 fault is probably related to you modifying your FA, you can code it out HU_NBT-> MICROPHONE_NUMBER = 1

Rear signals and mirrors work. I've been going old school and sticking my arm out of the window at stop signs.
Edit: looks like only my passenger mirror signal works :

Ah! Old school also meant we didn't have side mirrors
Is your FEM ok? Diagnose one ECU at a time in ISTA as I mentioned above using "ECU call up" functions, they contain lots of service functions grouped per ECU.
