Have you considered letting a "pro" coach drive your car around as they may be able to offer you more feedback on car setup and your driving style? I still think you could benefit from re-evaluating your own driving rather than focusing so much on equipment. Congrats on the 2:08, but with two major setup changes I would have expected a larger delta (were track conditions good?).
Seems like you may need more camber for the RR's? I'm surprised you wore thru the ferodo's so quickly, maybe you should have tried the DS1.11's beforehand. |

My fastest lap was on a perfect day. I can definitely use more camber on the RR but gradient was really not bad. There's definitely more that I can do from a skill point of view no doubt - definitely not trying to say that I'm the goat but I'm approaching the limit of the car here. Had a few guys at Bimmerworld review and SYT. The RR is basically a waste of money on MP HAS. I didn't even add 0.1G to my lateral grip vs NT01. Biggest impact is the BBK on telemetry. I think with a pro at the wheel and a more fitting tire, 2:06 is probably the most this car will give. Last edited by NYG; 09-03-2020 at 02:54 PM.. Reason: Info/Corrections |

I really like the ds1.11 and this is coming from a pfc fan. I've ran them with ns2r's (200 tw), ar01's and nt01's (both 100 tw) and I really like them compared to the pfc01 or 08's.
I'm prepping my e46 m3 for tt3 next year and will be dipping into slicks and I'm sure they'll hold up to that duty too.

I see you have caliper temperature stickers. What kind of temperature did you experience at the front calipers? I assume still have stock rear calipers ... did you also measure temperature?
I ran on stock brakes and was close to 390F on front and rear. Really high what is not good also high pad consumption. |

700F+ with the stock calipers Let me know what you think. I thought it was an awesome pad - they wore so fast though. |
