Occasional loud noise coming from front brakes sometimes during braking
Hi Guys,
I've been noticing some loud noises coming from the front brakes (happened about 4-5 times in the last 2 weeks). It's hard to describe, it's almost sounds like a stuck pad or something that is caught somewhere during deceleration. Sometimes it binds the steering a bit.. it's odd. My car has 30k miles and one track day. The pad wear sensor has NOT triggered and the noise is not a screeching sound.. if I had to spell out the sounds kind of a like a loud 'VOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!!!' Anyways just wondering if anyone has experienced similar. Thanks, Steve |

May be ancedotal evidence, but I found the stock pads did this in moderate to hard braking situations below 50mph.I wouldn't say its loud but definately audible, and there was a bit more feedback in the brake pedal that was definately not ABS lockup. Changed to Hawk HPS pads and didn't notice the sound anymore.
