M3 Windshield Cowl replacement

Hello, I searched all the forums and can't find any info on this. Seeing if anyone has changed the windshield rain cowl on their m3/M4? Mine looks terrible probably because we live in the desert and the rubber dried out. Pictures attached.
Just wondering how hard it is, watched YouTube videos of E46 but can't find any on our cars. Hoping it's about that difficult. Also any restoration products people would suggest for my other rubber before it dies out? They are all starting to turn gray

I have the same issue on my 2015. The parts not that expensive ($120) and it looks pretty easy. Just go to tis for the instructions. I have used Gummi Pfledge for my rubber parts for years ever since I owned an SLK hard top convertible. There are more expensive treatments like krytox if you so choose.

These are the links I used. Should be basically the same for an M I would think. Make sure before you install a new one, apply a good quality trim sealant on it. Also, treat it regularly in the future to allow it to last longer.

Question for you guys, does the new part have drainage holes on the passenger side where the windshield wiper arm would go?

Thanks, the stock cowl does not and water build ups pretty regularly, even tho bmw designed a water evacuation system for where the hole should go, like the driver side

I live in Palm Springs area and it gets 120 degrees sometime in the summer so When I park it for work and cant find shade it just gets beat like a red headed step child. I just need to keep it up with the rubber moisturizer
